Troubleshooting

The flame is orange instead of blue.
Having an orange flame is an indication of a poor gas / oxygen mixture. Inspect for obstructions in the airway, leaks in the gas lines, and confirm that the gas pressures are correct as listed in the manual.
The flame flickers and extinguishes.
Inspect the airways for any obstructions that may be suffocating the flame. Check the gas source in case refilling or replacement is necessary.
The pilot flame is getting blown out.
Add high-temperature silicon sealant around the ventilation. Inspect for winds that may be blowing out the pilot flame, a wind guard can help if this is the case. Confirm the gas pressures are correct as listed in the manual.
I can hear a whistling sound.
Whistling sounds may occur if the gas pressure is too high or too low. Confirm the gas pressures are correct as listed in the manual.
