About Our Product

Designed and manufactured in Norway for over 25 years, Cinderella is the only UL and NSF certified gas toilet in North America. Cinderella - like us here at Off-Grid Distribution™ - are a family-owned company that is environmentally conscious and dependable. Emissions tests are so low on these units, they are considered non-pollutant.

The Cinderella Freedom uses propane gas as an energy source to conduct the incineration process - making it perfect for off-grid applications! The fuel consumption on average is 0.45 lb/hr (0.2 kg/hr) or up to 180 grams per use and the power consumption is around 1.3A per incineration. Most customers average 75 flushes per 20lb tank. This unit runs at 9260 BTU/Hr and requires a connection to a 12v 10A(minimum) DC power supply to operate the control board, display screen and  fans. There are few different ways to power your unit; please see examples below:

  • Our most popular option is the Kedron 120vAC to 12vDC power adapter
  • 12v AGM or flooded deep cycle battery
  • 12v LiFePO4 battery
  • The house/home 12v battery bank directly
  • A portable battery pack with 12v output
  • 12v Step down converter if connected to a larger voltage battery bank (ie: 48v>12v or 24v>12v)
  • 120vAC to 12vDC adapter - we typically recommend the Samlex SEC-1223 or SEC-1235

Included

  • Freedom incineration toilet
  • User manual and Installation manuals
  • 100 x Cinderella Original Bowl Liners
  • 1 x Fresh Air Intake Valve
  • 1 x Chimney Cap

Easy To Use

Cinderella incineration toilets are easy to use, and the Cinderella bowl liners safely transport the waste to the incineration chamber. This keeps the toilet hygienic and clean, compared to other options available on the market. Simply lift the lid and seat ring. Place an original Cinderella bowl liner in the bowl and put the seat back down. Use the toilet as you would any toilet and close the lid when you are done. Press the “flush button” and the bowl liner, with its contents, is released into the incineration chamber below. The toilet is now ready for use and the process as described can be repeated.

Installation

The most important prerequisite for a well-functioning toilet is correct installation. We always recommend the gas supply be connected and tested by a specialist in accordance with your local codes and regulations. Since the unit is propane fuelled, it is required to be vented using UL-S636 pipes. You can source these locally however, Cinderella provides everything you would need in their specially designed  Cinderella Freedom Installation Kit. This comes with 4"x 36" UL-S636 pipes (5), 5 x connector rings, 3 x wall mounts with 4 x pipe clamps and ball valve syphon for condensate drainage from the included male/ female 87º elbow with condensate drain.
